NUEVA SIEMBRA DE ADENIUMS - PLANTING NEW ADENIUM

Hola, otra vez he recibido  desde Tailandia, semillas de Ademium Obesum. Variedad "Butter Fly" y "Tong pon chang" 

Aquí les muestro como las siembro, y veremos en unos días cual es el resultado (espero que sea bueno!!)

Hello again I have received from Thailand, Obesum Ademium seeds. Variety "Butter Fly" and "Tong chang pon"

Here I show as sow, in a few days and see what the result is (I hope it's good!)

Preparo el sustrato, con bastante arena, y le agrego a el anti hongos en polvo. Lo paso por zaranda, para sacar el exceso de elementos orgánicos. 

Prepare the substrate, with plenty of sand, and I add to the anti fungal powder. The passage through sieve to remove excess organics.

Luego en los recipientes pongo una base de piedritas de un centímetro y medio ,más o menos - ( las piedras de tamaño medianas, aquí se las conoce como piedritas del Paraná) y sobre ellas pongo agua solo hasta apenas cubrirlas.

Then put in the containers base stones of half an inch or so - (medium-sized stones, here are known as stones of Paraná) and put water on them only to just cover them.

Esta técnica me ha dado buenos resultados en las ultimas siembras que he realizado. Cuando agrego el sustrato, el agua sube y lo humedece, pero luego el exceso baja.

This technique has given me good results in the last crops I have done. When I add the substrate, the water rises and moisten it, but then the low excess.

Otra cosa que me ha dado resultado es poner cartelitos con nombres de lo que siembro adheridos al recipiente. Es la única manera que me resulta para no perderlos! Es muy simple, solo le hago agujeros en la tapa y los ato con un alambre finito. 

Luego, agrego el sustrato y dispongo las semillas. Las rocío con agua y tapo. Ahora a tener paciencia y esperar. Si todo sale bien,  en una semana ya estarán germinando.

Another thing that worked for me is to put up signs with names of what I sow attached to the container. It's the only way I find to keep track! It is very simple, only I make holes in the top and tie it with a thin wire.

Then, add the substrate and seed DECREE. The spray with water and plugs. Now to be patient and wait. If all goes well, in a week and be germinating.

SIEMBRA DE OPUNTIAS VARIADAS

Quiero mostrarles como han ido evolucionando con el correr de los días. I want to show how they have evolved over the course of days.

Como se puede observar en las fotografías, en algunos casos, las semillas han germinado. Incluso en la segunda fecha, han muerto alguna que otra plántula. En otros no han germinado pero se ve que las semillas se encuentran sanas, sin hongos.
La variedad 5 ha germinado en su gran mayoría y además se observan pequeñas espinitas. 

As can be seen in the photographs, in some cases, the seeds have germinated. Even on the second date, have died some other seedlings. In others have germinated but is that the seeds are healthy, without fungi.
The choice 5 has germinated the vast majority and small spines also observed.

 Los envases los conservo tapados así no pierden humedad. En las próximas semanas seguiré registrando como evolucionan
